Rev. Dwaine Jackson, D.Min
Chief Executive Officer
Rev. Dr. Dwaine A. Jackson began his ministry in 1992 at Bethel AME Church Los Angeles, focusing on youth and young adult development through mentoring programs and community support. He co-founded the Rebirth Youth and Family Center, which supports homeless young adults and those involved with the criminal justice system. Appointed to his first pastorate at Bethel AME, Barstow, in 2005, he later served at St. James AME and Bryant Temple, where he revitalized the church's Community Development Corporation, overseeing several funded programs for the community. Dr. Jackson has worked bi-vocationally for Shields for Families, managing the Healthy Start Program to support pregnant and parenting families. He holds multiple degrees and serves on several city boards, all while being a dedicated parent, grandparent, and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
The Bryant Temple P2P youth program has been an invaluable experience for our community's young people. Through its comprehensive mentoring and educational initiatives, the program has empowered countless youth to achieve their personal and academic goals. The dedicated staff and volunteers create a supportive environment that fosters growth, confidence, and a sense of purpose. We have seen remarkable transformations in participants, who emerge as leaders ready to contribute positively to society. Bryant Temple Community Development Corporation truly makes a difference, one young person at a time.
